HP Compaq 2710p Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver 7.10 B Windows Vista(x32/x64).

This package contains drivers for the supported Broadcom Wireless LAN adapters in the supported notebook models and operating systems. This driver supports 802.11i/WPA2 for WLAN cards that are capable of 802.11i. NOTE: This package contains Broadcom IHV Extensions that add support for Cisco Compatible Extensions. By default, this package installs the Broadcom IHV Extensions on HP Notebooks that support Cisco Compatible Extensions. This package does not install Broadcom IHV Extensions on HP Notebooks that do not support Cisco Compatible Extensions.

Enhancements:

  • Provides the Broadcom Wireless LAN 5.10.38.26 Driver.
  • Includes optimizations in system resource requirements during WLAN scans for the Broadcom 4322 a/b/g/n and Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN cards. These optimizations improve issues with audio playback from CDs and DVDs.
  • Includes optimizations to the code to fix video distortions that occur during WLAN scans when operating two displays at high resoultions.
  • Fixes an issue that occurred with driver version 5.10.38.14, where the driver would stop responding (hang).
